Tinubu, Kazakh President discuss strengthening bilateral relations

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday held discussions with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan on the sidelines of the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW).
In a post shared via his X account, President Tinubu revealed that the meeting focused on exploring avenues to strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Kazakhstan.
The Nigerian leader highlighted discussions centered on fostering economic and diplomatic cooperation between the two nations.
“I met with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan in Abu Dhabi today to explore new opportunities for expanding bilateral relations between Nigeria and Kazakhstan,” Tinubu stated.
Meanwhile, during a separate meeting with Rwandan President Paul Kagame on the eve of the ADSW, Tinubu emphasized the need for increased intra-African trade and collaboration as key drivers of the continent’s development, Western Post reported.
