National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed that he made Prof. Yemi Osinbajo the vice president in 2015 and its time for him to become the president of Nigeria after lots of sacrifices.

The presidential hopeful stated this on Thursday, while addressing delegates and  members of the APC at the Presidential Lodge in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The former Lagos State governor was received by the state governor, Dapo Abiodun and other members of the state executive council.

Tinubu shared his political prowess with the party members, stressing “I have five governors in Southwest.”

He noted that his political strength should be considered by delegates in their choice during the forthcoming APC primary election.

Tinubu said it was his wish to make peace at the party in 2015 when the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari came to him for the VP position.

The APC chieftain said the reason for forgoing his position then was to make way for a Muslim/Christian ticket in 2015.

“I forgo my VP right to Yemi Osinbajo in 2015,” Tinubu said succinctly as delegates praised him in an uproar.

Prince Abiodun appreciated Asiwaju Tinubu for speaking in Yoruba for proper understanding.

He promised that Ogun State delegates will do the needful to ensure that “our national leader become All Progressives Congress presidential candidate in the forthcoming presidential primaries.”
