Tinubu moves FEC meeting from Wednesday to Monday

President Bola Tinubu has approved the shifting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting from Wednesday to Monday.

The Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, made the announcement on Monday during a briefing with State House correspondents after a FEC meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Since his swearing in on May 29, President Tinubu has conducted two FEC meetings. The maiden meeting was held in August 28.

The Federal Executive Council is a constitutional body where government policies are debated and approved by Ministers with the President and Vice President as Chairman and Vice chairman respectively.

At today’s meeting, WesternPost had reported that President Tinubu conducted the swearing-in of three additional ministers who recently underwent screening by the National Assembly.
