Tinubu pleased with Benue’s developmental strides — Onanuga

President Bola Tinubu has expressed satisfaction with the developmental strides recorded by Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, within two years in office, describing them as a testament to effective governance under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, conveyed this during an interactive session with the Governor’s media team in Makurdi, the state capital.

At the meeting, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Tersoo Kula, delivered a detailed presentation highlighting the administration’s interventions in road construction and rehabilitation, agriculture, healthcare, security, education, ICT, industrialization, humanitarian services, and human capital development.

Onanuga, impressed by the scale of projects completed within two years, noted that Governor Alia’s performance reflects a deliberate, people-focused approach to governance. He further observed that the achievements demonstrate prudent management of state revenues, much of which are linked to the positive outcomes of President Tinubu’s reforms.

He emphasized that the President is particularly pleased with APC governors who are delivering on their mandates and translating federal reforms into tangible results for their people.

“Governor Alia’s accomplishments are proof that he clearly understands the fundamental needs of the people and is committed to addressing them,” Onanuga said.

The presidential aide also emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between the media teams of APC-controlled states and the Presidency to ensure Nigerians are fully informed of the administration’s efforts and achievements.
