Tinubu pledges continued support for Nasarawa, hails progress under Gov. Sule

By Kunle Sanni –
President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting Nasarawa State, particularly in solid minerals development and agriculture, pledging not to disappoint Nigerians who have entrusted him with leadership.
The President made this promise during a visit to the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad, at his palace. He commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his prudent management of state resources and driving sustainable development without accumulating debt.

“I am happy to be back here in Nasarawa and to confirm what the Emir told me during the 2023 campaigns — that I would return as President. Thank you for your foresight and belief,” Tinubu said.
Addressing traditional leaders and dignitaries, Tinubu praised the peaceful atmosphere and development in Nasarawa, noting that Governor Sule’s achievements were boosting investor confidence and attracting federal support.

“All I have decided is to ensure a change for the future and the best,” he stated. “We are working hard to fulfill our promises under the Renewed Hope Agenda, and I assure you, I will not fail you.”
Tinubu also expressed appreciation to the governors and federal ministers present for their dedication to the collective mission of rebuilding Nigeria. “Seeing the governors here is truly emotional. Thank you for keeping your loyalty intact,” he added.
In his remarks, the Emir of Lafia, who chairs the Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs, hailed Tinubu’s leadership, describing him as a transformational figure replicating the development strides he achieved in Lagos across the nation.
