Tinubu signs N2tn supplementary budget into law

President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday signed the 2023 N2.17 trillion supplementary budget into law.

Tinubu assented to the supplementary appropriation bill at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Present at the signing, were Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Chairman Senate Committee on Finance, Opeyemi Bamidele; and Chairman Senate Committee on Finance, Olamilakan Adeola

Also present were Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; Minister of Budget, Atiku Bagudu and Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Services, Zacch Adedeji.

The National Assembly, on Thursday, passed the N2.17 trillion 2023 Appropriation Bill after the third reading.
