Tinubu Support Group to be inaugurated in Ondo

Former Minister of State for Transport Sir Ademola Adegoroye has announced that the Ondo State chapter of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) is set to be inaugurated soon.

Adegoroye, who disclosed this in Akure, said the group would lead grassroots mobilisation efforts to ensure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election with a wide margin in the next general election.

Speaking after a well-attended TSG State caucus meeting, the former minister said, “The primary objective of Tinubu Support Group (TSG) is to champion the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through activities designed to unify and strengthen the APC and sensitise and mobilise voters with the support, under the guidance and leadership of His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, Governor of Ondo State and Leader of the APC in Ondo State.”

He explained that the group was deliberately taking time to bring all major political stakeholders in the state under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, united under the leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa.

“We have decided to all work with the Governor to canvass, promote and mobilise for the re-election of President Asiwaju by propagating the laudable interventions of the President in Ondo State in particular and Nigeria in general,” he said.

He added that since the governor is “at the forefront of such efforts, the TSG will be working under his guidance and leadership in the state.”

Adegoroye added that leaders and members of the APC, as well as supporters from other political parties impressed by President Tinubu’s performance, are joining the TSG ahead of its formal launch in the state.
