President Bola Tinubu will travel to Qatar on Thursday at the invitation of Sheikh Tamin Al-Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar.
This information was released in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja by Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity.
He said that Tinubu would leave Lagos State for the formal two-day visit with the goal of enhancing bilateral collaboration between the two countries in a number of areas, such as economic growth, security, and cultural exchange.
The President is anticipated to witness the signing of agreements aimed at generating value-added investments and strengthening Nigeria’s real sector during the visit.
According to Ngelale, the agreements would promote collaboration on counterterrorism while addressing trade, education, culture, solid minerals, digital economy, agriculture, oil and gas, and so forth.
In order to promote cross-sectoral prospects, he continued, Tinubu would also take part in a business and investment forum with senior executives from Qatar’s public and private sectors.
According to the presidential adviser, prominent government officials would travel with Tinubu to sign agreements.
