Tinubu to host Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu is set to welcome Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Abuja on Sunday for a historic state visit aimed at strengthening Nigeria-India bilateral relations.
In a statement by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, it was revealed that the two leaders will exchange signed Memoranda of Understanding to boost collaboration in critical sectors during their meeting at the Presidential Villa.
Prime Minister Modi, expected to arrive on Saturday, will hold bilateral talks with President Tinubu, focusing on deepening the strategic partnership between the two nations.
This visit marks the first by an Indian prime minister to Nigeria since Dr. Manmohan Singh’s state visit in 2007, highlighting the enduring diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.
