Tinubu unveils Abuja City Walk sales office, assures investors of protection

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to protecting local and foreign investments, saying Nigeria remains open for business and is strengthening legal, financial and regulatory frameworks to attract capital and guarantee returns.

The President made the pledge at the official launch of the Sales Office and Experience Centre for the Abuja City Walk Development project in Abuja. He was represented at the event by Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Tinubu described the project as a key milestone under his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and said it reflected the government’s commitment to delivering on its promises of economic transformation and infrastructure renewal.

“We are not just opening a building. We are unveiling the window to a multi-billion-dollar future. We are presenting a tangible manifestation of our Renewed Hope Agenda, sculpted in concrete, innovation and unwavering determination,” he said.

The President stated that the government was optimising legal, physical and financial frameworks to protect investments, ensure returns and remove unnecessary bureaucratic obstacles.

He said the Abuja City Walk project demonstrated what could be achieved through collaboration between government and the private sector.

“The Abuja City Walk is a shining symbol of what can be achieved when political will meets private sector expertise and capital,” he said.

Tinubu noted that granting the development Free Trade Zone status would reduce trade barriers and encourage regional commerce, medical tourism, premium retail and high-end hospitality.
