The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to President Bola Tinubu on Protocol, Ambassador Issah Niniola, has empowered widows in Osun State with the sum of ₦2.5 million.

In addition, Niniola graded several community roads in Olorunda Local Government Area of the state to ease the hardship caused by potholes and poor transportation, aiming to improve the overall quality of life for residents in the area.

The presidential aide also distributed rams and cash as Sallah gifts to residents of the Osogbo Federal Constituency.

The gesture to the widows was in response to their plea for support towards their Cooperative Thrift initiative. The beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude, describing Niniola’s support as a true manifestation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

They praised Niniola’s kindness and generosity, saying his actions reflect his strong commitment to positively impacting the lives of Nigerians, particularly the less privileged.

Showering encomiums on the benefactor, the head of the widows’ group, Mrs. Oladosu Basirat, said Niniola’s genuine commitment to the advancement of humanity has brought joy and relief to many members of the cooperative society. She promised the fund would be used judiciously, noting it would help boost the beneficiaries’ livelihoods.

In his remarks, Ambassador Niniola reaffirmed his readiness to continue providing relief and support to the people, regardless of their political affiliations.

Ambassador Niniola previously served as Director of Protocol to the President before retiring from active service. He was later appointed as SSA on Protocol to the President.
