Tinubu’s aides, top officials to attend 10th Lagos City Marathon presser

As the countdown to the 10th edition of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon intensifies, Nilayo Sports Management Ltd has announced a world press conference to be held on Friday at the Access Bank headquarters in Oniru, Lagos.

The event, part of a series of activities leading up to race day, is expected to set the tone for a landmark edition of the prestigious marathon.

Scheduled for Saturday, February 15, this year’s race will host approximately 4,000 athletes, including 100 elite international runners, reinforcing its status as one of Africa’s premier marathon events.

Dignitaries expected to attend include Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, Hon. Sunday Dare; Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) Vice President, Chief Solomon Ogba; NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko; NSC Director General Hon. Bukola Olopade; and Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) President Tonobok Okowa, among others.

Legendary Nigerian athletes Mary Onyali, Yusuf Alli, and Falilat Ogunkoya will also be present, adding excitement to the occasion with their iconic contributions to Nigerian athletics.

With anticipation building, the 10th edition of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon is poised to be a historic spectacle, uniting top-tier athletes, dignitaries, and sports enthusiasts from around the world.
