Chairman, Social Democratic Party (SDP), Oyo State, Yinka Folahan has described the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as victory for the Yoruba race and Nigeria as a whole.

Reacting to Wednesday’s victory of Tinubu at the presidential primary of the APC, Folahan described the former Lagos State governor as a man with impeccable political prowess and high quality, adding that the margin with which he won the election was commendable and an indication that he is preferred as president in 2023.

“The election was a clear statement that Asiwaju Tinubu is a politician of high repute who has the capability and wealth of experience to address the various problems confronting the nation.

“For him to have achieved the victory at the polls with such wide margin is an evidence that he will emerge president of Nigeria in 2023,” he said.

Folahan, while calling for more support for Asiwaju Tinubu in 2023, expressed confidence that if voted in as president, he will use his wealth of experience to put the nation back on the right track.
