Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos will be joined by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, and the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (rtd.) at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and WAFU B, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, will lead members of the NFF Executive Committee, while Alhaji Abubakar Lawal will lead the GTI Group delegation.
Top officials from the Lagos State Government, Lagos State Sports Commission, and Lagos State Football Association are also expected. Former WAFU President, Chief Jonathan Ogufere, and Nigeria’s oldest practising football journalist, Pa Segun Adenuga, have confirmed attendance.
The Lagos State Football Association will honour Pa Biliaminu Thanni, the oldest surviving winner of the Nigeria National Cup, during the event.
The Mobolaji Johnson Arena, formerly King George V Stadium, hosted the inaugural Cup final in 1945 and served as the primary venue until 1972 when a drawn final between Bendel Insurance and Mighty Jets led to a replay in Ibadan’s Liberty Stadium.
This year’s grand finale will see defending champions Rivers Angels face Nasarawa Amazons in the women’s final at 1 p.m., followed by the men’s final between Abakaliki FC and Kwara United at 4 p.m.
