Trump nominates Nigerian-American, Adewale Sadik to AfDB as Executive Director

U.S. President Donald Trump has nominated Nigerian-American professional, Ademola Adewale-Sadik, as the United States Executive Director at the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group.

The nomination has been sent to the U.S. Senate for confirmation.

Adewale-Sadik, 37, brings a distinguished academic and professional background to the role. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, where he was a Banneker/Key Scholar. He also holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Yale Law School.

If confirmed, Adewale-Sadik will represent the interests of the United States at the African Development Bank, a leading multilateral institution committed to advancing economic development and social progress across Africa.
