Two corp members die, fifteen to repeat service in Kwara

Kwara State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs. Francisca Olaleye has said that two of the 2021 Batch C, Stream 2 corps members lost their lives in the course of the one year mandatory youth service scheme in the state.

Olaleye, in his message at the passing out parade ceremony for the 2021 Batch C, Stream 2, also disclosed that 15 others would repeat the service year for absconding while four others are to have their service year extended by some days for violating various sections of the NYSC Bye-Laws.

Her address was delivered by senior NYSC officers, who supervised the low key passing out ceremony at the various local government areas in the state.

She admonished the outgone corps members to keep the flag of the scheme flying, even after their service year.

Olaleye congratulated them for the successful completion of their service year in the state.

According to her, the corps members exhibited a high level of discipline, perseverance doggedness and resilience during their one-year mandatory National Service.
