Two sisters face family ordeal amid homosexual involvement

Two sisters, Tewogbola Adebanjo and Yeside Adebanjo in Lagos, Nigeria are facing an extended family crisis over their involvement in homosexual.
The origin of their orderal started when it was the turn of the Abejoye family of Ibeju Lekki to choose a king, after an in house vote was conducted among the Abejoyes, Oluwaseyi Kazeem Adebanjo, who happened to be the Olori ebi of the Adebanjo’s and also into grassroot politics was voted next in line to become king.
According to reports, the Oniwonlu family, which is also another branch of the royal families in Ibeju, in collaboration with the Local government chairman of Ibeju Lekki, were hell bent on not allowing him to become king , based on flimsy reasons.
The report stated that, “Oluwaseyi at the time was not married and didn’t have kids. He was also said to be harbouring and protecting his two sisters- Tewogbola Adebanjo and Yeside Adebanjo, who are homosexuals , and who he has been a guardian to since they were teenagers.
“Oluwaseyi contested these reasons till his last breath. The Ibeju Lekki king makers had been politicized and so could not come to his rescue.
“There have been in the past few years several threats to their lives , as their properties had been vandalized, and attacked that had led to injuries and eventually the death of Oluwaseyi Kazeem Adebanjo, who was on several occasions, beaten by armed political thugs till he had a partial stroke, and even while down with stroke, he was again attacked till he went to into coma and eventually his death.
“He protected his sisters, Tewogbola Adebanjo and Yeside Adebanjo with his life, as their lives had also been under threats because of their homosexual lifestyle, which is forbidden in the Yoruba culture, and unfortunately is also an offence against the law of our country, which may attract close to 14yrs in prison sentence .
“Sadly, the Oniwonlu, had some acquired video evidences of Tewogbola Adebanjo making out with her female partner.
“Evidences that Oluwaseyi Kazeem Adebanjo and his sisters are not privy to, but they only got to know about it during several attacks carried out by the armed thugs, who had mentioned severally while they attack them that they have video evidences of them .The two sisters were one day almost lynched by a mob because these thugs had created a scene.”
The report added that, “They made an official report at the police station, after which they were sent an invite by the police, but they declined the invite for the fear of the possibility of them getting arrested by the police, the moment these thugs present the homosexual evidence.
“This is the reason why Tewogbola is now at large, leaving behind her sister in the hands of destiny.”
