U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles begin training in Santiago

Nigeria’s U-20 national team, the Flying Eagles, had their first training session in Santiago, Chile, on Wednesday evening at the Cancha Liga Training Pitch.

The session, which lasted for two hours, was supervised by head coach Aliyu Zubair. It followed a recovery session earlier in the morning at the team’s base, Le Meridien Hotel.

The team is scheduled to continue training later tonight as part of their build-up to the friendly game against the Chile U-20 team on Saturday, September 20.

They will also face the Australia U-20 team on Tuesday, September 23.

Nigeria is in Group F, alongside Norway, Saudi Arabia, and Colombia.
