UCL: Arsenal maintain perfect run with 3–1 win over Bayern Munich

Arsenal extended their flawless Champions League run to five wins from five matches with an emphatic 3–1 victory over Bayern Munich at the Emirates Stadium.
William Saliba, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli found the back of the net to hand the German champions their first defeat of the season.
The Gunners started brightly and got their reward in the 22nd minute when Saliba rose highest to head home Saka’s corner — Arsenal’s 10th goal from a corner this season, the most of any team across Europe’s top five leagues.
Bayern responded well and grew into the match, eventually equalising 10 minutes later. Joshua Kimmich’s sweeping cross-field pass found Serge Gnabry, who squared the ball for Jamal Musiala to tap in from close range — the first goal Arsenal have conceded in the competition this season.
Despite the setback, Mikel Arteta’s men regained control after the break. Saka restored Arsenal’s lead with a composed finish, turning in a low cross from substitute Leandro Trossard.
Arsenal wrapped up the win late on when Martin Ødegaard lofted a perfectly weighted pass over the Bayern defence. Martinelli raced through, rounded Manuel Neuer, and calmly finished to seal a memorable European night for the Gunners.
The victory preserves Arsenal’s 100% Champions League record and sends a strong message to the rest of Europe as Arteta’s side continue their impressive momentum.
