Umo Eno provides 30,000 free tickets ahead Super Eagles crucial game against Zimbabwe

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has purchased 30,000 match tickets to mobilize support for the Super Eagles in their 2026 World Cup qualification match against the Warriors of Zimbabwe. The highly anticipated game is set to take place on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

Announcing the development, the state’s Commissioner for Sports, Elder Paul Bassey, stated that the tickets will be distributed free of charge at designated centres across Uyo, beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 24.

Ticket distribution centers:

  • All Radio Stations
  • De Venus Bar and Restaurant, Stadium Road, Uyo
  • Uyo Township Stadium, Uyo
  • Plaza Management Committee Office, Ibom Plaza, Uyo
  • All previous sales agents and centers

Important guidelines for fans:

  1. Tickets are free – fans should not purchase tickets from unauthorized persons.
  2. Entry into the stadium requires a ticket – no ticket, no entry.
  3. No ticket distribution at the stadium – fans must collect their tickets in advance.
  4. Orderly conduct is required – fans must follow seating arrangements and instructions from organizers.
  5. Strict adherence to FIFA/CAF/NFF match regulations will be enforced.
  6. Security agencies will ensure compliance with all guidelines.

According to the commissioner, the governor’s gesture aims to stir home support for the Super Eagles and ensure an electric atmosphere at the stadium.
