Unilorin VC hails Omotowa’s appointment as NNPCL Non-Executive Director

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has congratulated an alumnus of the university, Engr. Babs Omotowa, on his appointment as a Non-Executive Director at the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
This was contained in a statement issued by the university’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Kunle Akogun, on Wednesday in Ilorin.
Prof. Egbewole described the appointment as well-deserved, citing Omotowa’s impressive credentials and extensive experience in the global oil industry.
He praised Omotowa as a thoroughbred professional and an outstanding alumnus of the nation’s most sought-after university, expressing confidence in his ability to fulfill his responsibilities effectively.
The Professor of Jurisprudence and International Law urged Omotowa to seize the opportunity to collaborate with others in revitalizing Nigeria’s oil-dependent economy.
Prof. Egbewole also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for reposing confidence in Omotowa, assuring that the new Non-Executive Director would make significant contributions.
The Vice Chancellor wished Omotowa a successful and impactful tenure.
