UPDATE: Buhari, Adamu lead APC ongoing NEC meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari and National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Abdullahi are currently leading the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party in Abuja.

The meeting being presided over by the party’s National Chairman is ongoing at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

WesternPost gathered from informed sources yesterday night that the NEC is expected to approve the mode of primary election for choosing the presidential candidate of the party among other matters that will be tabled for the consideration and approval of the highest decision marking organ of the party.

APC has slated the convention to pick its presidential flagbearer for May 30/31.

Among those currently attending the NEC meeting are Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Dr. Ahmed Lawan, Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, state governors, state chairmen among others.
