VIDEO: “Ex White Lion docked”, Dino Melaye mocks Yahaya Bello

Former Kogi Senator Dino Melaye took to social media on Wednesday morning to poke fun at embattled ex-governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, who was arraigned in court over alleged misappropriation of N110 billion.

Melaye, noted for his social media shenanigans, shared a video of Bello seated in court with the caption, “Ex White Lion docked”.

Melaye was apparently refering to Yahaya Bello’s meek or lamb-like appearance in the dock, which sharply contrasts the image of a White Lion the former governor likes to project.

Bello and Melaye have been arch political rivals with the former being more vociferous and outlandish in his approach.

Melaye had in one of his social media videos predicted that the former Kogi governor would be jailed after completing his tenure as governor.

Now that the self-acclaimed White Lion has been captured, caged and pleaded not guilty to the 16-count charges brought against him by the EFCC, will Melaye’s Yoruba song, “Do you know Yahaya Bello maa sèwòn léyìn ìjoba”, meaning (Do you know Yahaya Bello will be jailed after leaving government) come to pass? Will Bello be convicted of his alleged offences?
