VIDEO: Sanwo-Olu, Bago sign MoU on food items supply to Lagos
FLASH: Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Governor of Niger State, Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Produce-For-Lagos initiative.

The Produce-For-Lagos initiative is a long-term strategic partnership between Niger and Lagos State(s), where Niger State will produce food items (Paddy, Tubers, Legumes, Grains etc) and Lagos State will be position itself to be a major organized market (off takers).
The Farmers in Niger State will have a ready market for their produce while Lagos State citizens can be assured availability and price stability of food items.
In the Long term, this initiative will create a ready supply of farm produce directly to the ongoing massive Lagos Food logistics in Ketu Ereyun, Epe.
