Vinicius’ fans accuse Argentine star of stealing Ballon d’Or

The aftermath of the Ballon d’Or seems to linger on as some fans express their frustration over Real Madrid winger Vinicius Júnior missing out on the Best Player award.

Disappointed by Vinicius not being recognized as the best player in the world, some fans mistakenly directed their anger at an Argentine international. Their confusion led them to accuse the wrong player of “stealing” the Ballon d’Or.

Instead of targeting Rodrigo Hernández, who actually won the award, these fans went after Rodrigo De Paul, the Atlético de Madrid midfielder and World Cup winner with Argentina.

As a result, De Paul’s Instagram account was flooded with comments from fans who accused him of having “stolen” the Ballon d’Or from Vinicius. This sparked jokes among other followers, who were astonished by the mix-up.
