Osinbajo cancels parley with APC state chairmen

The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has cancelled his planned meeting with All Progressives Congress state chairmen scheduled for Monday at the State House.

WESTERN POST had earlier exclusively reported that the Vice President planned to meet with the state chairmen to intimate them with his plan to join the presidential race.

The meeting was originally scheduled for tomorrow by 8.30pm according to notice of meeting circulated by the Chairman of Forum of APC Chairmen, Alhaji Bukar Dalori, who is the Borno State APC Chairman.

In a new notice to cancel the meeting sent to the APC state chairmen on Sunday evening, the forum chairman noted that only the Vice President can explain why he cancelled the meeting.

The cancellation notice states:

“The meeting with Vice President tomorrow has been cancelled. This is due to reasons best known to the VP.  Please sorry for the inconveniences.
