WAFU U-20: Why we lost to Nigeria – Ghana U-20 coach

Desmond Ofei, coach of Ghana’s Black Satellites, has explained the reasons behind their loss to Nigeria’s Flying Eagles in the WAFU B U20 final on Wednesday.

Ofei attributed the defeat to the absence of several key players, saying, “Losing nine key players who were crucial to our success at the African Games was a significant blow.”

However, he also saw a positive side to the situation, noting, “This allowed us to build a new core of young talent, and these boys have stepped up tremendously. They deserve this qualification just as much as anyone else.”
