Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has expressed confidence in the team’s preparedness for Tuesday’s clash against Zimbabwe’s Warriors.

Osimhen scored twice to help Nigeria overcome Rwanda in Kigali last Friday, a victory that has bolstered the team’s chances of securing a spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Emphasizing the importance of the remaining qualifying fixtures, the Napoli striker stated that the Eagles have no option but to claim all the remaining maximum points.

“These upcoming matches are crucial battles, and we must approach them with determination and strength to secure victory,” the striker told NFF TV.

Last Friday’s win in Kigali pushed Eric Chelle’s team to fourth position in Group C with six points from five games.

The Super Eagles are set to face Zimbabwe in a matchday six fixture at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Tuesday, with kick-off slated for 5:30 p.m.
