We’ll continue to keep Osun APC united says Omisore

Governor Gboyega Oyetola, as well as leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Thursday welcomed the newly elected National Secretary of the party, Otunba Iyiola Omisore to Osun State.

Omisore returned to the state for the first time after the national convention of the ruling party held on Saturday, March 26th, 2022 in Abuja where he emerged the national secretary. 

Speaking at a reception organized for him, held at the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, Omisore stated that his emergence as the national secretary of APC portends greatness and victory for Osun. 

He appealed to party members and the people of the state to re-elect governor Oyetola for second term.

“I admonish every member of APC and citizen of Osun State to appreciate the party for the privilege given to me by voting massively for Governor Oyetola in July 2022,” he said.

He added that APC is united in Osun and that everything will be done to sustain this.

While appreciating the roles of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, Governor Oyetola, among others, Omisore gave assurance of dividend of democracy for the people of Osun.

Also speaking, Governor Oyetola expressed his appreciation to the Southwest leadership of the party by supporting the candidature of Omisore as the national secretary.

The governor noted that Omisore is a round peg in round hole, adding that the solidarity exhibited by the leaders of the party in the zone was largely responsible for his emergence.

Welcoming members of the party to the gathering, the Chairman IleriOluwa Campaign Organisation, Israel Famurewa, expressed gratitude to members of the party, particularly delegates to the national convention for their loyalty and commitment to the success of their candidate.

He charged them to exhibit the same commitment by working assiduously for the success of the party in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
