…all the details about the 8 Finalists
By Tosin Brown
As the curtain draws ahead of the announcement of the ninth winner of the BBNaija franchise, viewers and fans of the show remain curious about which of the eight finalists will emerge as the winner.
Just a few hours before the finale, Biggie treated the eight finalists to a day of fun. Before stepping into the final Saturday night party, the ex-housemates had some fun with a hilarious ‘Most Likely To’ game, answering lighthearted questions about who’s most likely to ghost them or lose their phone. The ex-housemates also partied with the eight finalists as part of wrapping up the show.
For clarity, here are the eight finalists who braved all odds in the No Loose Guard house, staying in the game for 71 days.
KellyRae
KellyRae was the first housemate to secure a position in the finale when he emerged as the Head of House in the ninth week. Born Kingsley Sule, the 33-year-old Delta State native began the show with his legally married wife as part of the Double K pair. The Delta University graduate enjoys music, movies, and anything fun, and he is poised to take his music career to a whole new level after BBNaija.
Wanni
Wanni is one of the most talked about and popular housemates in the No Loose Guard edition. She entered the house with her twin sister, Handi, but remained till the last day. She was romantically involved with a fellow housemate, Shawn. Born Wanni Danbaki, the 27-year-old DJ from Kaduna is an Ahmadu Bello University graduate who loves dancing and meeting new people.
Sooj
Born Samuel Osuji, this Imo State native and communication specialist started the show paired with his friend, 24-year-old Joseph Bassey Christopher, aka Topher. Sooj, a 23-year-old student of Babcock University, enjoys American football, boxing, basketball, drawing, and dancing, and is a potential winner. He has feelings for fellow housemate Nelly, but their relationship has been rocky.
Victoria
Twenty-five-year-old Victoria Onyenwere Uchechi from Imo State faced challenges early in the game but persevered. A student at the National Open University, Victoria struggled after losing her close friend of three years, Shawn, to fellow housemate Wanni. She enjoys traveling, going to the gym, and eating good food.
Ozee
Ozuomba Ozee Mbadiwe from Imo State paired up with his brother Oseloka, aka Ocee, in the BBNaija house for eight weeks before eviction separated them. The 34-year-old University of Bradford and Nigerian Law School graduate has been the center of attention for two female finalists, both vying for his affection. Ozee enjoys working out, football, socializing, and entertaining.
Onyeka
At 28, Onyeka Chigbo entered the show with her elder sister, Chizoba, and has stood out as a confident personality. The Anambra State native is a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University with a degree in law. Onyeka enjoys dancing, swimming, yoga, and acting.
Nelly
Nelly Mbonu, 29, from Abia State, is undoubtedly one of the most vibrant and engaging personalities in the BBNaija house. A graduate of ISCG University in Benin Republic, she loves cooking, dancing, traveling, and meeting new people. She entered the show with her friend Anita, and the two were the only pair to make it to the finals even after housemates were unpaired.
Anita
Twenty-eight-year-old Anita Ukah from Imo State showcased her talents during her 71-day stay in the BBNaija house. A graduate of Igbinedion University and the University of Chester, UK, Anita enjoys dancing, healthcare, and traveling. Like Nelly, she made it to the finals and remains a strong contender for the title.
