Why Ademola Adeleke can’t be Osun Governor-Group

By Deborah Oladejo, Osogbo

A socio-political group, Dynamic Reformers said the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the July 16 governorship election in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, lacks what it takes, in all ramifications, to govern the state.

The group, under the auspices of the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in a statement issued by its chairman, Pa Durojaiye Olaleke in Osogbo on Tuesday, stated that it would be a monumental assault on the sensibilities of the people of the state to have the PDP candidate as a governor.

Olaleke, who is a retired educationist from a Federal Government College hinted that electing Adeleke as a governor would be against the law of nature.

The educationist stated further that the universally unwritten law of nature even among animals is that the strongest or the most knowledgeable should rule the less-endowed ones in the jungle.

The Dynamic Reformers chairman who cautioned desperate politicians to desist from signing off the prosperity of the state for selfish reasons disclosed further that history would not be in favour of whoever is canvassing for the choice of Adeleke as the governor of Osun State either now or in the nearest future.

He stated further that it would be catastrophic to have the PDP candidate as the governor.

Pa Olaleke hinted that Governor Gboyega Oyetola has been a blessing to the state and should be re-elected in order to continue his good work.

“It is surprising that some people who are supposed to know better are even scheming for Senator Ademola Adeleke to become the next state governor when it’s glaringly obvious that he (Adeleke) lacks the capacities to occupy such an exalted political office.

“Is it because of money that some cabals are working assiduously to sentence our state into an avoidable irredeemable political hell fire?  May God forbid bad thing.

“Ademola Adeleke should perish the thought of governing the state as governance of a state is not a tea party,” Pa Olaleke said.
