World Bicycle Day: LNSA receives excellence award for promoting cycling

The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has received a Recognition Award for promoting cycling.

The Agency was bestowed the award during the recent World Bicycle Day 2025 celebration.

According to the event organizers, the Agency was honoured for its exceptional contributions to the promotion of cycling within the community.

Catalytic Cycling Foundation Nigeria and the Cycling Federation of Nigeria, who were the organizers, said LNSA has played a pivotal role in fostering a safer and more supportive environment for cyclists, thereby encouraging a greater number of individuals to adopt cycling as a viable mode of transportation and recreation within the state.

Meanwhile, the General Manager of the Agency, Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan, who received the award, appreciated the organizers.

Oyekan said “The Agency will not relent in its efforts in securing lives and properties of people in the community”
