Popular Yoruba movie actors and actresses have converged to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

The thespians assembled to launch Eko57, a support group for President Bola Tinubu, in preparation for the 2027 presidential election.

Videos from the event showed supporters tossing brooms painted in the All Progressives Congress (APC) party colours while chanting, “On your mandate we shall stand.”

Some of the actors present at the event included Lege Miami, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Aremu Afolayan, Fausat Balogun, Remi Surutu and Ayo Adesanya, among others.

During the meeting, Aremu spoke about how President Tinubu once aided his business by negotiating the reopening of Dubai borders to business owners, from which he said he was able to make a profit in his automobile business.

Supporters at the gathering also strategised on ways to back the current administration of President Tinubu, address language barriers, foster unity among members and mobilise support at the grassroots level.
