You’re undermining govt you participated in its formation- Bwala berates El-rufai

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, has responded to former Kaduna Governor Nasir el-Rufai’s recent criticism of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bwala noted that el-Rufai’s comments appear to be an effort to undermine the current administration by sowing discontent.
El-Rufai, speaking at a national conference in Abuja on Monday, claimed the APC had strayed from its founding principles. He expressed frustration over the party’s lack of organization, noting that no party organs had met in two years.
El-Rufai also expressed disappointment with the party’s leadership, accusing them of promoting incompetence, particularly among unqualified individuals.
“You cannot afford to have illiterates, semi-illiterates, and cunning people as your leaders,” he said, arguing that this is the root of the poor leadership currently plaguing the country.
In response, Bwala in a post via his X account on Tuesday said asked if el-Rufai would still hold the same opinion if he were still in government.
“My Senior brother, if you were to be in the government and cabinet, would you have held and expressed the same position?” Bwala asked.
