Zimbabwe considering changing venue for match against South Africa
Zimbabwe plans to play their home game of the 2026 World Cup qualifying series next month against Bafana Bafana outside of South Africa.
The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has proposed the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, Botswana, to host the home tie against South Africa.
Zimbabwe has previously played their home games in the World Cup qualifiers in Rwanda and, most recently, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The game is slated for October 10, 2025.
