2023: APC National Women Leader empowers 3000 vulnerable people in Borno

National Women Leader of the all Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Betta Edu and her team have empowered over 3000 less privileged and vulnerable women in Borno State.

A statement by the Special Adviser on Political Matters to National Women Leader, Seun Bosede Osamaye, said Dr Edu, while speaking at the event reiterated that the empowerment program which took place in Maiduguri was an impactful intervention that takes care of the immediate needs of the less privileged and vulnerable women

She said: “We want the lives of people to change for real and that’s why we are doing what we are doing. That’s why we are deploying all the passion, that’s why we are deploying all the resources to support small scale startups. We want our people to be healthy, we want your children to be healthy. That is why we are giving out free health care.”

She expressed appreciation to Governor Zulum and his wife, Dr Falmata Zulum for providing logistics support to make the program successful and for also mobilizing women in their numbers to benefit from the programme.

The women leader noted that APC is the dominant party in Borno State, adding that the state will deliver 100 percent for APC and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president come 2023.
