Leaders and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State have declared their total support for the governorship aspiration of the former Commissioner for Finance, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO.

Former members of the House of Representatives for Ede North/Ede South/Ejigbo/Egbedore Federal Constituency, Hon. Ismail Kunle and Hon. Bade Falade, alongside the APC Chairman in Ejigbo, Hon. Lateef Adegoke, reaffirmed their full backing for Oyebamiji’s governorship bid.

Falade described Oyebamiji as the most competent and experienced aspirant capable of reclaiming power for the APC, noting that he has the popularity, experience, and capacity to lead Osun to greater heights. He appealed to party members to rally behind him, saying Oyebamiji is “tested, trusted, and ready to serve.”

In his remarks, Oyebamiji expressed gratitude to the party leaders and members for their show of love and confidence in his aspiration. He described the massive turnout as proof of unity and shared purpose within the APC family.

He reiterated his commitment to inclusive and participatory governance if elected, promising to run a government that carries everyone along in the affairs of the state. “We will ensure that no one is left out in decision-making and service delivery,” he assured.

According to him, the strength of the APC lies in its unity and collective effort. He emphasized that all aspirants are members of one big family and must work together to secure victory for the party in 2026.

Oyebamiji stressed that his governance philosophy aligns with the true definition of democracy — a government of the people, by the people, and for the people — built on accountability, inclusiveness, and service.

So far, the former commissioner has toured over 20 local government areas across Osun State to engage party members and consolidate support ahead of the 2026 governorship election.
