25 million Nigerians received ₦25,000 in conditional cash transfers — FG

The Federal Government announced on Thursday that 25 million Nigerians have benefited from its ₦25,000 conditional cash transfer program.
Speaking after the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting, chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, highlighted President Bola Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to alleviate hardships caused by subsidy removal and recent policy reforms.
Edun further disclosed that, over the last five days, around 11,000 individuals received ₦3.5 billion through the consumer credit scheme. Additionally, he noted that more than ₦90 billion has been distributed to 500,000 Nigerian students through the student loan program.
