AbdulRazaq reappoints failed House of Reps aspirant, four others as commissioners

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has forwarded names of five new commissioner-nominees to the state House of Assembly for approval. 

The nominees include a former House of Representatives aspirant, Adenike Afolabi-Oshatimehin.

Afolabi-Oshatimehin (Ifelodun) had earlier resigned as Commissioner for Solid Minerals to contest Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun federal constituency seat in last the last House of Representatives primary election but couldn’t clinch the ticket.

The others, according to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye on Tuesday are; Wahab Femi Agbaje (Offa), Dr. Afeez Abolore Alabi (Ilorin East), Gidado Lateef Alakawa (Asa) and Ibrahim Akaje (Ilorin West).

The nominees’ names and profiles have been sent to the House of Assembly for legislative screening and approval.
