Abiru salutes Jimi Benson at 50

 Chairman, Senate Committee on Industries and the Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Tokunbo Abiru, has congratulated a member of the House of Representatives, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon Babajimi Benson on his 50th birthday.
 
In a statement issued by Enitan Olukotun, the media aide to Abiru, the Senator described the legislator as a dedicated representative who always seeks how to impact the lives of his constituents through people-oriented initiatives like Apo Anu (food bank for the needy) and various intervention services under the iCare Foundation.
 
“Hon Jimi Benson’s strides both at the Green chamber in Abuja and at home in Ikorodu, further validates the rationale to have more professionals in politics,’, Olukotun quoted Senator Abiru as saying.
 
The Senator extended good wishes to the lawmaker on his 50th milestone and asked God to grant him good health as he ages gracefully. 
 
“My dear brother , I rejoice with you on this 50th milestone. I pray that Almighty God shall continue to give you strength and enablement to impact more lives in the Ikorodu community and beyond,” Senator remarked.
