ADC ready to field credible candidates for 2027 elections — Ondo chieftain

By Boye Oyeyemi –

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ondo State, Hon. Akintunde Akingbola Ebenezer, says the party is prepared to field credible candidates capable of winning the 2027 elections.

Akingbola, in a statement, said rising public dissatisfaction had positioned the ADC as a strong alternative for citizens seeking meaningful change.

According to him, “the APC has failed to deliver on the promises it made to Nigerians, and the people are now ready for a party that truly represents their hopes and aspirations.”

He noted that the party’s growing acceptance in Ondo State and other parts of the country reflected voters’ readiness for a new political direction.

Akingbola added that the ADC had built a solid grassroots structure capable of challenging the ruling APC, while criticising the country’s economic situation marked by inflation, insecurity and declining living conditions.

“By 2027, Nigerians will vote based on performance and sincerity, not political propaganda,” he said.

He urged constituents to support leaders committed to development and accountability, adding that he would prioritise youth empowerment, infrastructure, education and rural economic growth if elected.

“The wind of change has already started blowing. ADC will win, and Akoko will not be left behind,” he said.
