Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has received endorsements from various individuals and groups for his second term in office.
The endorsements were made during the 2025 annual inter-religious prayer programme held at the Government Secretariat in Osogbo.
Former Governor of the state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, prayed for God to continue strengthening Adeleke in his administration’s performance. While drumming support for the governor, he stated in Yoruba, “Mr. Governor’s medicine is working for Osun people, and so he will continue for a second term.”

The President of the League of Imams and Alfas in Osun State, Sheikh Musa Animasahun, who led other religious leaders, declared that Adeleke’s excellent service delivery has made him deserving of a second term. He urged the masses to support Adeleke for the continuation of better governance in Osun State.
The state Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Bimbo Fasasi Arapasopo, also endorsed the governor, commending his attention to the needs of workers and pensioners.
The Market Women and Men Association, led by the Iyaloja General of Osun State, Chief Oyebode Mary, conveyed their support for Adeleke’s second term, citing his contributions to improving the ease of doing business as one of his key achievements.
The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, concluded the prayer session with a special prayer of empowerment and approval for the collective prayers by clerics, workers, and other groups. He sought divine protection and enablement for the governor and his team.
In his address, Governor Adeleke pledged to continue serving the people diligently and faithfully while pursuing pro-people policies and programmes.
He said, “I stand before you today to declare that we will not abandon the path of God. We will continue to serve the people diligently and faithfully. Genuine service to the people is, to us, a strong way to worship God.
“We will continue to pursue pro-people policies and programmes. We will not abuse state power; rather, we will deploy the instruments of state to develop the people and our dear state.”
