Adeleke pledges continued support for armed forces at remembrance day celebration

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting the armed forces in their duty of protecting the territorial integrity of both the nation and the state.

Adeleke made this known during the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration held at the Military Cenotaph in Osogbo.

The Governor, while emphasizing the importance of peace and security to the nation, expressed appreciation for the military’s contributions to national stability.

He commended the armed forces for their unwavering commitment to the values of patriotism, loyalty, and sacrifice.

According to him, “For us in Osun State, we will continue to support the armed forces to enable them to perform their duties of protecting the territorial integrity of our nation and state.

“We remember the supreme price paid by our heroes who died defending our great nation, and their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

“We also pay tribute to those who have served our fatherland with distinction, selflessness, dedication, and gallantry.”
