Adeleke visits Wike after meeting with Tinubu
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke on Thursday visited the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
A photograph of the meeting shared by Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, showed Adeleke and the minister holding the governor’s Certificate of Return.
The visit came shortly after Adeleke met President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where he presented his Certificate of Return to the president.
The meetings formed part of Adeleke’s engagements with senior political figures days after the Independent National Electoral Commission declared him the winner of the August 15 governorship election.
Adeleke polled 511,067 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, who secured 444,815 votes.
The governor won in 19 of the state’s 30 local government areas to secure a second term in office.
