AFCON: Moffi replaces injured Boniface for Super Eagles

Ahead of upcoming Africa of Nations in Ivory Coast, the Super Eagles has called up OGC Nice striker Terem Moffi as replacement for injured Victor Boniface.
This was disclosed by the team’s media officer on Monday.
Boniface picked up an injury in the team’s training camp in UAE.
Moffi’s participation in Ivory Coast is however subject to the approval of his club and the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
“Victor Boniface is out and Terem Moffi is in his place, pending approval of CAF and concurrence of his Club,” Raji said.
Eagles had also on January 3, called up Alhassan Yusuf as a replacement for Wilfred Ndidi who pulled out injured.
