Aiyedatiwa congratulates Oyebanji on re-election as Ekiti governor

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on his victory in the state governorship election and subsequent re-election for a second term.

Aiyedatiwa, in a statement issued on Sunday by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, described the election outcome as a clear endorsement of Oyebanji’s leadership and development-driven administration.

The governor said the victory reflected the confidence reposed in the Ekiti governor by residents of the state, noting that the electorate had rewarded his performance at the polls.

According to him, the renewed mandate was evidence of the achievements recorded by the Oyebanji administration in infrastructure, economic development, social welfare and governance.

Aiyedatiwa equally expressed optimism that the Ekiti governor would build on the gains of his first term and sustain efforts aimed at improving the living conditions of the people.

He also commended voters in the state for conducting themselves peacefully throughout the election and for demonstrating commitment to democratic principles.

The Ondo governor said the peaceful conduct of the exercise further strengthened public confidence in the electoral process and democratic governance.

He wished Oyebanji a successful second term in office and pledged continued collaboration and support towards advancing development across the South-West region and Nigeria as a whole.
