Aiyedatiwa rallies Renewed Hope Ambassadors for President Tinubu’s reelection

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has called on members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) to intensify grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Tinubu’s reelection ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The governor made the call on Friday while receiving leaders of the political group at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office in Akure, where he commended their efforts at taking the Renewed Hope Agenda to communities across the state.
Aiyedatiwa said the economic reforms introduced by President Tinubu were beginning to reposition the nation’s economy, noting that the initial hardship associated with the policies was gradually giving way to positive outcomes.
According to him, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors was established to bridge the communication gap between the Federal Government and Nigerians by educating citizens on the objectives and benefits of the administration’s policies.
“We have to educate them and take the message to every part of the country. We must let the people know what Mr President has done and why we have to support his re-election,” the governor said.
He highlighted the student loan scheme, exchange rate convergence, elimination of multiple foreign exchange windows, and ongoing infrastructure projects such as the Ibadan-Akure Highway reconstruction and the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway as key achievements of the Tinubu administration.
Aiyedatiwa urged the group to sustain public enlightenment and grassroots mobilisation, describing its structure from the state level to polling units as crucial to building wider support for the president. He also expressed confidence that collaboration between the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and the All Progressives Congress (APC) would strengthen the party ahead of future elections.
Earlier, the state’s Director-General and Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Rt. Hon. Victor Olabimtan, said the organisation had recruited 25 ambassadors in every political unit across Ondo and was compiling an additional 400 ambassadors in each ward. He added that plans were underway to hold youth summits and town hall meetings to sensitise citizens on the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.
