The Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Research and Documentation, Ewatomilola Emiola-Owoeye, has urged women to embrace a CEO mindset anchored on vision, purpose and resilience as key drivers of success in leadership and business.
Delivering a keynote lecture titled “The CEO Mindset: Leading with Vision, Purpose and Worth” at the 2025 Redefined Woman Summit held in Akure, Ewatomilola said leadership begins in the mind and goes beyond titles or positions.
According to her, true leadership is rooted in clarity of purpose, courage in decision-making and the grace to persevere through challenges.
“I discovered that purpose is not a destination; it is a continuous process of growth and contribution,” she noted.
Sharing insights from her journey from the United Kingdom to Nigeria, the entrepreneur and CEO of B&B Group said her businesses were built on innovation, sustainability and community empowerment, adding that her mission is to redefine excellence in entrepreneurship.
She encouraged women to pursue self-actualisation unapologetically, saying, “Your dreams deserve to live, and your destiny deserves your full attention.”
At the event, Ewatomilola supported three small-scale business owners with ₦150,000, describing the gesture as part of her commitment to inspiring and empowering women determined to lead and thrive despite challenges.
