Alaafin celebrates ex-First Bank CEO Adeduntan at 57

The Alaafin of Oyo, Abimbola Akeem Owoade, has showered praises on the immediate past Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of First Bank of Nigeria, Adesola Kazeem Adeduntan, describing him as a man of integrity, authenticity and exemplary leadership.
In a goodwill message issued through his Director of Media and Publicity, Bode Durojaiye on Thursday to commemorate Adeduntan’s 57th birthday, the monarch applauded the former banker for his remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s financial sector, especially in transforming First Bank into a digitally driven institution.
Oba Owoade noted that Adeduntan’s innovative mindset, professionalism and strategic leadership have continued to distinguish him as one of the nation’s most respected banking figures.
The royal father described the celebrant as a man guided by strong moral values, honesty and a deep commitment to service to humanity.
“You are guided by conscience, integrity and empathy, always ensuring that your actions align with your words. Your life reflects dedication to truth, responsibility and positive impact on society,” the Alaafin stated.
He further commended Adeduntan for standing firmly for justice and fairness, while also showing kindness, humility and understanding in his dealings with others.
The monarch prayed for continued good health, long life, prosperity and greater accomplishments for the former First Bank boss.
According to the Alaafin, Adeduntan’s achievements in the banking industry have elevated the institution beyond Nigeria’s borders and positioned it for greater global relevance.
