Alaafin Owoade receives tributes from palace staff on 51st birthday

The Director of Media and Publicity to the Alaafin of Oyo, Bode Durojaiye, has congratulated the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, on his 51st birthday, describing the monarch as a stabilising and inspiring leader committed to the progress of the Oyo Kingdom and humanity.

Durojaiye, in a birthday tribute released on Friday, said the Alaafin has continued to distinguish himself through visionary leadership, humility and an unwavering passion for peace, unity and human advancement since ascending the throne of his forefathers.

According to the palace spokesman, Oba Owoade is a courageous monarch who is not afraid to take bold decisions, noting that his leadership style has earned him the admiration of members of the royal household and the people of Oyo Kingdom.

He described the monarch as dependable, compassionate and approachable, adding that the royal father consistently promotes harmony, resolves conflicts peacefully and inspires those around him through his actions and personal example.

Speaking on behalf of the Alaafin’s personal assistant as well as members of the Media and Publicity, Administrative and Security Departments of the palace, Durojaiye expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve under the monarch, describing him as a father figure, mentor and source of inspiration.

He said the palace staff remain grateful for the Alaafin’s support, encouragement and respect for everyone working with him, praying that God would continue to grant him wisdom, strength, good health and abundant blessings.

The spokesman further prayed that the monarch would enjoy many more years of impactful leadership, prosperity and fulfilment, expressing confidence that his reign would continue to foster unity, peace and development across the Oyo Kingdom.

Durojaiye concluded the tribute by wishing Oba Owoade a memorable 51st birthday celebration, praying for a long, peaceful and successful reign, while reaffirming the loyalty and commitment of palace staff to the continued success of the traditional institution.
